Colposcopy
					Service Detail
			In-Depth Cervical Evaluation
If your Pap smear shows abnormal results, a colposcopy allows us to take a closer look at your cervix using a lighted magnifying instrument.
What to Expect:
This 10-minute, in-office procedure involves applying a mild solution to your cervix and potentially taking a small biopsy if needed. It may cause mild cramping or spotting, but most patients resume normal activity the same day.
Reasons for Colposcopy:
- Abnormal Pap smear
 - Genital warts or cervical polyps
 - Unexplained bleeding or pain
 - HPV infection
 - Changes in vulvar skin

We provide prompt, personalized follow-up based on your results.
